Poursuite

So its been a week since my last (first) blog, and today am making my second entry, trying to keep the blog on the roll.

This week has been quite eventful to begin with, last Sunday got the pleasure of going to witness my nieces play in the Gymkhana open tennis tournament. I had a really great time, got to see really good tennis players competing, excellent coaches, and family and friends coming in to cheer on for their loved once. my 5 year old niece won 1st runner up which was really great, so proud of her. Through watching this open tournament i was really inspired and an old passion of mine was re-awaken, i wanted to play tennis :).
As far as i can remember i had a thing for tennis, i remember when i was like 7 going through my mum's old stuff and found her old wooden tennis racket (guess that's what they used back in the days) and holding that racket just made me happy, guess thats why i decided to hold on to it till i left for college.

As a teenager, tennis always fascinated me, among all sports out there. I really wanted to learn how to play tennis,i even had dreams of going pro, but due to academic commitments and other stuff that dream like many others had to be pushed into the back of the list. But as one old wise man said, if its meant to be, its meant to be. And now my dream is active again, offcourse i dont see myself going pro but at least i can learn how to play it and be one of those sports you play over the weekends with friends for fun :)

During the course of the week, had lots of stuff that needed to get done at work at the same time after work had to go get some wedding stuff done as well. as a kid wedding seemed to be one of those great parties you get invited to, as an adult experiencing my first hands-on wedding i have come to realise that the end result usually comes from weeks of planning, stress, running around like a headless chicken tryna get things done...

But when your doing it with a supportive team, its less hectic and stressful, glad i have a team that's as hands on as i am on this, hopefully the end result would be my sister having the wedding of her dream...

And finally the weekend arrived, spent my Saturday on trying sort out some wedding stuff while being drenched by the unpredictable Dar rain but on the positive note, ended the night with a delicious dinner and lovely hang-out at a friends, where i had a revelation that if i practice hard enough i could actually be able to use my left hand as well.... I believe the term is ...

Hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoy your Sunday..
