Its that time to update my blog with what has been going on for the past two weeks....
These past two weeks have been hectic and filled with festivities. To begin with off-course would be my sister's wedding, which i have to say was a complete success. Me and my family had to travel north of Tanzania for the wedding. I began my journey on a rainy Thursday, me my sister plus 3 of our cousins began a crazy and fun road trip to Moshi which took us around 8 to 9 hours. We arrived in Moshi around 3.30pm and immediately we had to jump in finalize last minute details and get ready for the send off party....
Guest started arriving around 7pm and the ball got rolling by 7.30pm, i have to admit i had such a great time seeing most of my relatives catching up, dancing and just having fun with no care in the world. Unfortunately the night ended with a bitter sweet taste as the camera i had plus my cousins where sneakily snatch right in front of our eyes as we were busy getting family photos :(.
The next morning we had to get up on time to check out and be on the road to Arusha for the preparation of the wedding. We arrived in A-town a little after noon, the weather was cool, the scenary was amazing, no jams, no heat, you would say a little paradise somewhere in Tanzania :)
At around 10pm a group of us decided to go check out the night life of Arusha and boy were we blown away, Bugaloo was the ish....great DJs', great crowd and before we knew it it was almost dawn and we had to head back as in a few hours we had to be up and ready for the wedding ceremony....
The wedding took place on a Saturday afternoon followed by the reception at Mount Meru Hotel, one of the most beautiful Hotels i have seen so far, i have to give it up for the wedding committee they did a great and excellent job with the reception setting. All in all the wedding was great, and an amazing time and i definately have to revisit Arusha in the near future....
Currently my annual vacation has commenced, am enjoying every single moment of it, and just my luck its on the same time as Christmas and new years, what more can i ask for....
Sorry for my not having photos on my update today, wedding photos are still on the development stage and as soon as they are ready, i'll share couple of them with ya'll...
Well this brings me to the end of my blog entry today, wish you all a merry christmas and a Happy new year. I will try to update my blog before 2011 ends but if that fails see ya'll in 2012 :)
Peace!!!!
